Papaw’s Place is a nostalgic Appalachian general store on US-25, halfway between London and Corbin. Here you’ll be welcomed with a smile and immersed in an ever changing assortment of vintage goods, Cast iron cookware, local honey and jams, hunting gear, fishing accessories and a wide variety of handmade goods, scoop candy — and a porch you’re welcome to sit on for as long as you like.

Papaw’s Place is built on one idea — that shopping used to feel like something. You walked in, somebody knew your name, and you left with a little more than you came for. We’ve filled 2,500 square feet with curated vintage wares, new pantry items, handmade quilts and blankets, new and vintage toys, hunting and fishing accessories including fishing tackle, locally sources jams and honey, assorted snacks and drinks, and old woven apple baskets full of loose candy. Come in as a visitor and leave as family!

Fresh pumpkins, hay and mums in October. A Christmas village in December. Opening day of fishing season in the spring. Something worth the drive all year long.
